KIMBERLY BEASLEY – PRESIDENT

Kimberly Beasley serves as the President and Executive Director of Puzzled Butterfly, bringing more than three decades of lived experience navigating lupus and complex chronic illness. Her journey began in childhood with unexplained joint pain and chronic anemia, followed by years of misdiagnoses and dismissed symptoms. After two decades of progressive health challenges, Kimberly received a confirmed lupus diagnosis in 2011 at National Jewish Health in Colorado, finally providing the clarity she had sought since childhood.

This defining moment ignited Kimberly’s commitment to chronic illness advocacy and education. Through resilience, faith, and lived expertise, she developed the E.A.S.E. framework: Empowerment, Advocacy, Self‑Management, and Education, which guides the mission and programming of Puzzled Butterfly. Her work centers on helping individuals “find E.A.S.E. in the disease” by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate chronic illness with strength and dignity.

Under Kimberly’s leadership, Puzzled Butterfly provides supportive resources, community engagement, and educational initiatives for chronic illness pathfinders seeking clarity and connection. Her nonprofit vision is rooted in compassion, integrity, and the unwavering belief that no one should face chronic disease alone.

LACHAUNDA DAVIS – TREASURER

LaChaunda Davis serves as the Treasurer of Puzzled Butterfly. An accomplished healthcare professional with more than a decade of experience in provider relations, contract administration, and healthcare payment management. Throughout her career, she has been committed to improving healthcare access, strengthening provider partnerships, and supporting initiatives that positively impact the communities they serve.

In addition to her professional career, Chaun provides tax preparation and business support services with a focus on integrity, financial stewardship, and client education. Her background in both healthcare and financial management uniquely equips her to serve organizations with transparency, accountability, and strategic insight.

As Treasurer and Board Member of Puzzled Butterfly, Chaun is honored to support the organization’s mission of empowering individuals living with chronic illnesses through education, advocacy, and compassionate community support. She is passionate about helping create sustainable programs that improve quality of life while ensuring responsible financial oversight that allows the organization to grow its impact.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Chaun enjoys serving others through community engagement and creating spaces that inspire peace and connection. She believes that servant leadership, collaboration, and compassion are the foundation of meaningful and lasting change.

DOMONIQUE REED – SECRETARY

Domonique Reed serves as the Secretary of Puzzled Butterfly. She wears many hats as a devoted wife, loving mother, and corporate risk manager. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and spending time boating with family and friends.

As the eldest daughter, caring for others has always been both a priority and a source of joy. That heart for service naturally extends into her role with Puzzled Butterfly, where she is honored to support individuals living with chronic illnesses and the families who walk alongside them. She is especially passionate about encouraging caregivers, recognizing that they often feel overlooked and helpless as they navigate their own unique journeys while caring for those they love.

Serving on the Board of Directors of Puzzled Butterfly is a dream come true for Domonique, as it allows her to combine her compassion for others with the organization’s mission of bringing hope, support, and encouragement to those affected by chronic health conditions.
